“I got my first teddy around the age of 4, I saw him in a shop and needed him! For years this fluffy polar bear was my companion to many adventures! No matter which trip, he was with me and I have so many pics of me with it! The best was when I once played alone in the park and I noticed a girl that had the exact same polar bear teddy! I still remember all this because it was the day I made my very first friend trough something we both liked. It’s so funny to look back at it bc it was so simple yet a kind of connection was established that lasts until this day! From the moment we showed our teddies to each other and shared stories, names of our teddies etc. we became inseparable and just happy little beings in our own world with our teddies 💕 every time we met we would smile wide and holding up our teddies as if it were a secret signal only we knew!! we still have our bears at home bc they are a sign of our true friendship.”

“I got My first teddy bear on my first national child’s day, when I was nine. His name was just „Teddy”. I slept with him every night, everywhere i went he went with me. We were inseparable. One day, I took him to the mall, I don’t remember everything, but we sat at restaurant to eat dinner and i laid him on the chair and went to play. We ate dinner and came back home. I couldn’t find Teddy anywhere, But my parents didn’t want to go back to the mall to find him. I didn’t sleep well that night, and I never saw him again. My parents bought me new Teddy bear, But it never was the same.”

"This is the story of my grand girl Sienna, when she was just a toddler she swallowed a quarter !! At almond palmer hospital she went to hopefully get it out without intensive surgery and was given her first teddy bear - it had a name a bear who cares - she held onto the bear and had a successful and relatively easy removal ! A bear who cares has been with her ever since - she is now 7.5 bear has only left the house once! This year for show and tell at school ! He’s a Little raggedy but very well loved ! And a bear who truly cares!"
